Swirl Wine Bites - little nuggets of vinous fun

Wine bites are entertaining and gently informative pre-dinner tastings which appeal to both beginners and connoisseurs. They are held every month at Cornfields’ Restaurant with Rooms, near Bedford. To view the 2010 schedule and book online, click here.

Swirl Weekend Wine Sessions: buds and zooms

We dig a little deeper in these longer sessions, spending more time on developing your tasting skills and wine vocabulary, and a touch of friendly technical background. There’s plenty of interaction and time for questions. Lunch is included. Spittoons are provided for the drivers, although we always choose venues that are well-placed for public transport, and several of our venues also offer accommodation.

Our Wine Buds half-day tutorials are a great jumping-off point for wine lovers who just have that inkling to discover a little more about what goes into their glass. Wine-Zoom Tastings explore in more depth how to taste and describe wine, and zoom in on the wines of a particular country or region, exploring in a more detail how place, people and traditions shape their character.
